About Beauty Grows Hope
Heather and our team come alongside homes or businesses that desire a beautiful, whimsical garden space and yet lack the time, and experience to make it come to life. We offer everything from garden coaching, garden design lite (i.e. reimagining trouble spots) and full new garden creation. We invite you to experience the oasis that comes with creating a garden, and watching beauty unfold season after season.
The goal is that all Beauty Grows Hope clients are left with more than just a lovely outdoor space to enjoy, although they will certainly have that; ideally, you are also inspired by the process of transformation and experience hope and healing in watching what may have once been ordinary, ho-hum land become a magical oasis.
Meet Heather, Founder & Garden Designer
Heather is a garden designer, passionate people person, a stage-4 cancer survivor, and cultivator of beauty.
When cancer disrupted her life, she went to the garden for wonder at her fingertips and hope in the hardest of days. I want you to have that too. The heart and soul of this business is creating gritty hope through the beauty of gardens. Upon her recovery, she began to volunteer to help create gardens for organizations and invite them into the same whimsical joy she experienced.

For the gardener who wants to dig in (literally) but needs some guidance. Includes an in-person collaborative consultation meeting, site evaluation, custom Pinterest board, and a video walkthrough of suggested plant selections.

In this collaboration the new garden involves your ideas and preferences and then Heather and team make it happen. Includes two in-person collaborative consultation meetings, full site evaluation for soil conditions, custom Pinterest board, and a video walkthrough of all of the plant selections before planting.
Garden Coaching

Let’s say you have a bare corner, or a stubborn spot that just doesn’t seem to grow and you aren’t quite sure what to do about it. Answer: call Heather and she’ll be happy to come visit your garden, make sure you are supported and have a cheerleader each step of the way. Sometimes a garden needs a small refresh or has a troublespot and Garden Coaching i ideal for getting that advice.

Beauty Gives Hope
Beauty Grows Hope started after my cancer diagnosis as I looked for ways to share the healing and delight the garden offers to me. With our incredible community volunteer’s support of time and resources we create a garden every year for someone fighting cancer. We give Gardens to offer the daily invitation to wonder, to remind someone they aren’t alone, and as a concrete way to help on those darkest and longest of days.
